Empathic Agility Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202302317E), a Singapore-incorporated management consultancy, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the PDPA). It applies to this website and to enquiries you send us through it.
What personal data we collect
We only collect what we need. From this website, that means:
- Details you give us through the contact form: your name, your email address, and the content of the message you write.
- Details you give us if you reach us another way: for example, your name and phone number if you message us on WhatsApp, or your email address if you write to us directly.
- Technical information collected automatically: when you visit, our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this site, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the contact form.
How we use your personal data
We use the personal data you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and follow up about the services you asked about;
- provide the consultancy services you engage us for, where that follows from your enquiry;
- keep our own records of who we have spoken to and what was discussed; and
- meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your personal data for unrelated marketing without asking you first, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
The basis on which we handle your data
When you submit the contact form or message us, you consent to Empathic Agility using the details you provide for the purposes set out above. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us (see Your rights below). In some cases we may also handle limited personal data where the PDPA permits it without consent, for example to comply with the law or to manage an existing business relationship you have asked us to begin.
Who we share your data with
We keep your personal data within Empathic Agility and share it only where it is necessary to run the service:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf. We use trusted third parties to host this website, deliver our email, and provide messaging and scheduling tools. These providers act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data. Where any of them store or process data outside Singapore, we take reasonable steps so that your data continues to receive protection comparable to the PDPA.
- Where the law requires it. We may disclose personal data if we are required to by law, regulation, or a valid request from a public authority.
We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal data only for as long as it serves the purpose you gave it for, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it. When an enquiry does not lead to an engagement and there is no further reason to hold your details, we delete them. When personal data is no longer needed for any legal or business purpose, we remove it or anonymise it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work and to measure, in aggregate, how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Your rights under the PDPA
Under Singapore's PDPA you may, at any time:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and ask how we have used or disclosed it;
- Correct any personal data that is inaccurate or out of date;
- Withdraw consent to our continued use of your personal data, on reasonable notice.
To make any of these requests, write to us at team@empathicagility.io. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you withdraw consent, please note that we may be unable to continue providing a service that depends on the data, and we may still keep what the law requires us to keep.
